Weekly Programming

Story Time

Enjoy quality time with your little one as you sing songs, play games, and read a different book each week with our story-teller.  Story Time is a great way to have fun with your child and help them develop skills at the same time. Although the books are chosen for children at the Pre-K level, very young children are benefiting from singing the songs and listening to the story. If they cannot sit through the whole story, that is ok! It is better for them to enjoy the Story Time for a little while than to stay for the entire time and become frustrated. School-age children are welcome to attend Story Time! It will not be as challenging, but they are welcome to sit in and decide for themselves if they would like to participate. Visit our events calendar for our weekly programing scheduling.

Tot Time

Join us for an interactive time of movement and song in the Little WONDERs Exhibit.  Tot Time is a great way to have fun with your child and help them develop skills at the same time. Although young infants may not be able to sing along or complete the motions, parents can sing to them and help them move. Young infants are bonding with their grown-ups, developing language skills, and developing muscle control. If your little one cannot sit through the whole Tot Time, that is ok! It is better for them to enjoy the Tot Time for a little while than to stay for the entire time and become frustrated. Although the activities are not developed for that age group, children older than 2 are welcome to attend Tot Time. Older siblings often enjoy helping out little brother or sister during songs. Visit our events calendar for our weekly programing scheduling.
