More solutions to find, more friends to meet.

Time Travel Camp

Join us as we travel through time to meet problem solvers who changed our world! We’ll begin with a stop in Leonardo Da Vinci’s studio to check out his plans for a helicopter and more. Then on to 15th century Florence, Italy where architects are stumped on how to build a dome for the new cathedral. Will you be the one to solve the problem? Then we’ll travel through time to meet the men and women who made flight possible. Our final destination will be in the 20th century where we will try our hands at code breaking, inspired by the Navajo Code Talkers. At every stop campers will be actively engaged in activities designed to help them develop their engineering/problem solving skills!

Mission to Mars!

Calling all scientists, engineers, and designers to Mission Control!  NASA needs us to send a spacecraft to Mars to analyze a strange rock found by the Curiosity rover. Come join planetary scientist and OSU professor Dr. Kat Gardner-Vandy as we prepare a Mission to Mars! Children will work together to plan a full mission including takeoff, landing, data collection, and of course the all-important trip home. We will study real meteorites, use satellite imagery to choose a landing location, build a launch vehicle, create working rovers and so much more!

Marine Geology Camp: Under the Sea!

Have you ever wondered what you can find at the bottom of the ocean? Are there volcanoes under water? What lives on and under the seafloor? What role does the ocean play in our daily life? Spend 3 days with real Marine Geologists answering these questions! Located on site at the OSU Boone Pickens School of Geology; children will study marine rocks, learn about natural resources and investigate marine life under the microscope!
